I have been listening to weather on the radio, and this storm, a strong category 4 is about to slam into Nicaragua and Honduras. This will affect many tabaqueros, fabricas, and fincas in both nations.

It went from 40mph to 150mph in the span of thirty-six hours.
Coming ashore right now at 140mph. Moving at only 3mph.

Rare to have a major that far south, much less that it's the strongest recorded November hurricane.

Even stronger than Wilma that decimated Cozumel? Dunno....This cold front that pushed through Texas is what caused the turn and slow moving speed of the hurricane. Wilma stalled over Cozumel for 36 hours. It was total destruction. Prayers sent to all effected. It was a bad season for sure.

Wilma was a late October storm. Nicaragua is bearing the brunt of this monster.

Strongest November hurricane ever. Those poor people. Hope the tobacco isn't wiped out, because of the number of jobs lost would make recovery even longer.
