Oh, and I'm looking for the "Here's where to look to find out what they're worth" kind of help

, not the "I'll help you drink them" kind of help

, or the "Send them to me for analysis"

Mad Dawg.
You should track down Linn (he does multiple submissions in the "I'll Drink To That" forum on this very subject).
He's the expert when it comes to American whiskies, and a man of rare taste as well.
