Arandoza 5th Anniversary

Very smooth maduro wrapper with aromas of tobacco and cinnamon, tobacco and stronger cinnamon from the foot. Clean clip and smooth draw with notes of leather, tobacco and cinnamon.

Initial draw brings more cinnamon flavor with smooth tobacco and leather notes. I really enjoyed Arandoza's samples last year and so far am not disappointed.

This is a mostly medium strength flavor bomb, not unlike the Arandoza Red, but kicked up a bit. I am especially enjoying the cinnamon finish.

One of the things I enjoy about well blended cigar is how you get non-tobacco flavors without any infusion, unlike too many cigars on the market that are not bad but just taste like tobacco.

Mellow room note and a very firm white ash which I tapped at one inch to avoid ash lap. The burn is very clean as well.

At 1/3 the flavor is holding fairly consistent with a bit more cinnamon on the tip of the tongue and less leather notes. This cigar is holding up very nicely so far. A bit of pepper is developing on the retrohale.

Tore the wrapper a little removing the bands, but not significantly so. Had to touch up the burn a bit, but probably because it's trying to rain, so the humidity is high. Looking at the foot, the ligero looks well centered.

Approaching the last third the burn is less even, likely due to the wrapper damage I caused removing the bands. A quick touch up and all was well again. The smoke is very smooth and continues to have very pleasant notes of cinnamon and pepper.

At about one and 1/4 inch it started canoeing so I put it down. Overall a very pleasant cigar that earns an 8.5/10. Joe Bob says check it out.
