I have'nt seen any comments on the board yet so I thought I would share with y'all.
I recieved a free Tuscany(Robusto) because of my membership in the J.C. Newman cigar club. It comes in a cedar lined tube. On opening, my first impression was of a very attractive cigar with a natural wrapper, lightly veined with some tooth. It was firm without being hard, no soft spots and a nice cap. The cigar cliped and lit easily. There was very little flavor for the first inch other than hints of cedar. The flavor and strength stayed this way until half way, when it began to develop some spice and straightforward tobacco taste. It did develop a 2 inch pale gray ash though. And the smoke volume was acceptable throughout. All in all, a mild to medium smoke that does not meet up to Fuente/Cuesta Rey standards. It is a one demensional smoke with very little complexity. Definitely no where near as good as a Cuesta Rey #9. For a free cigar, It's all right. If it costs more than $2.50, forget it. I was underwhelmed and would give it a solid C. I might try one more just to give it a chance.
