I pulled one out of Gumby's Restore My Faith pass and decided to do a review on it since I haven't seen one of these done in some time.

This one was a Belicoso, about 6.5x50.
A great looking shiny and dark brown maduro. None of that cooked looking black stuff here.
The taper was top flight and the draw was good as well. My only real knock on the construction was the press on them is a bit extreme.

The smoke was very sweet and flavorful, plenty of the nicaraquan profile I have grown to love over the last year or so. cocoa, coffe and toast are a few of the more upfront nuances. It went very well with my late afternoon coffee as I sat and watched the Blue Birds set up shop for the season.

The burn had a couple of problems, I had to touch it up three or four times as it kept trying to run, but that never really became a big problem. The ash was gray and firm and only had to be knocked off on occasion.

Overall a very nice cigar, a great choice for my afternoon.
