La Aurora 1495
After another hard day of campaigning, I grab a cold amberbock, and
finally got an opportunity to try the new 1495. I didn't have a great deal of time, and I figured this was the perfect size. I am not sure the exact dimensions, but I would say it was around a petite corona, or slightly larger. It was well constructed, and I took off as little of the cap as possible. After I lit the cigar, I had trouble getting a good draw. I tried to cut off a little more, but still had problems. By the time I was half way finished, it became a little easier, but still not what I had expected. I have to reiterate, and tell you that I have never smoke a La Aurora that I didn't like. Not that I have smoked many, just a few. I feel like I need to give this cigar a 2nd chance. I may have just had one that was rolled a bit to tight. It was difficult to really enjoy, and taste, because of a bad draw. Perhaps I needed to let it sit out, and dry out some.
