They arent worth a damn for fried food that tastes like its dipped in hot peanut oil. But most anything else it kicks ass. I make bacon in mine, cook chicken, fish, whatever. Fries suck. Do them however you want to but they still suck.

I rarely turn on the big oven anymore.
Yep - we had the same problem. We are on our third one as well. First one lasted almost 18 months. I called and they promptly sent out another. That one lasted only a few months and called and they sent another. We are out of the warranty. What I've learned it to be careful how to twist the function button. You would think that they would correct this defect.

It's not a bad idea... my air fryer, the one I posted a link to from Home Depot, has a non-stick drip pan at the bottom, so I can just dump the grease into a jar and throw it into the dishwasher. Its the sides that need to be cleaned...

And, just like clockwork...mine has cocked up again. wont stay on "air fry" and if you arent there to watch it...soggy, undercooked food.

Well, time to start researching brands now. This is the third one of these, two on me and one on Cuisnart. There wont be another.

And you still need the husband of the dead woman to tell you to live a little?

Air fryers? Do you really want to live forever?

Trust me. You don't.

Strictly convenience, Boss, strictly convenience. Not holiness. MUCH easier to clean and use than cooktops and oven and shit.

And yes, yes I do want to live forever. Far too many people haven't experienced my wrath. PLUS, there's a few other things I wanna see how they turn out.

This one. Best. First one died after 11 months, they replaced it. Newer version. We use it almost daily. Reheats take out leftovers perfectly.

Thumbs down

Looking to get one of those "do it all" air fryers very soon. Need it to be able to do all the cooking functions and dehydrate as well.

The one I posted does - and rotisserie chicken too. I've not tested dehydrate function, but boy does it do everything else!

I have a large capacity deep fryer already and no more counter space. After using Phil's, just didn't seem practical to me. Lots of people love them. Perhaps the technology has improved.
