Early lunch at Woodys. Grilled chicken with broccoli and asparagus, and side salad. The side salad cracked me up. I asked for dressing on the side, and I got a lot of salad dressing.

More dressing than salad! LOL
Ever since Arby's started to sell their sauces in stores, I've been eating the crap out of roast beef and Swiss cheese sammitches. It's kind of like the McRib...I can't tell you why I like them, I just freaking do. I blame nostalgia. I loved them when I was a kid. Not good BBQ, but I still have to have one every year.

It’s cold and rain is expected later. Perfect for warm pork pozole for lunch.
![]() It is easy to make if you use chili powders. My simple recipe. Easy Red Pork Pozole 8 cups chicken stock 3 pounds pork (loin, shoulder, picnic, your choice) cut into 1 to 2 inch cubes 1 medium onion, peeled and cut in half lengthwise 6 cloves garlic 2 bay leaves 5 tablespoons Gebhardt's chili powder 3 tablespoons California chile powder 3 tablespoons New Mexico chile powder 1 tablespoon oregano 1 teaspoons salt 3 15-ounce cans white hominy, drained and rinsed 4 limes, cut in wedges 4 cups chopped cabbage Thinly sliced radish Cilantro 1 Pour chicken stock into a large pot over medium high heat. Add pork, onion, garlic and bay leaves. Bring to a boil then lower heat and simmer for 1 hour. Using a slotted spoon, remove the pork and vegetables from the pot and set aside, discarding the onion, garlic, and bay leaves. 2 With the stock still simmering, stir in Gebhardt's, California, and New Mexico Chili Powders, oregano, and salt. Add hominy and simmer for 45 minutes. 3 Add in cooked pork and simmer for 15 more minutes. 4 Ladle into a large soup bowl and serve with fresh lime, chopped cabbage, radish slices. Add red pepper flakes if you want more heat.

Cold and lots of rain today. Made clean-out-the -fridge soup. Had lots of veggies and cooked proteins I had to use or throw out. Threw it all into a pot with chicken stock and spices. Tasty and hot on a cold wet day.
