1977 Dow Port
I'm currently finishing off a bottle of 1977 Dow Port that I opened four days ago. Yum...
When I first opened it, it had a powerful aftertaste of Absinthe. Over the next couple days it mellowed out and was reduced to merely a strong taste of anise/black licorice. The final glass is tasting pretty fine, but I've never experienced this kind of dominance in this port before. Anybody else tried this one? |
