I'll Drink to That! What is your favorite beverage to have with a cigar? Juice? Cola? Beer? Port? Single Malt Scotch? This room is for the discussion of beverages, especially alcoholic beverages that go well with cigars! |

Wine Contest. WE HAVE A WINNER!!!!! See my first or last pos
I haven't seen much here about wine, but I'm sure some people here enjoy it, as much as I do for sure! So I've decided to have a contest.
NUNEE HAS WON!!! Thanks to everyone who participated, it was a lot of fun to gost the contest! UPDATE: Sorry that my clues were late being posted. guys. On Christmas Eve Day at about 10AM I was slicing potatoes for hashbrowns for breakfast with the family and my hand slipped off of the hand gaurd. I ended up cutting 3/4ths a Centimeter off the end of my finger. So now I'm doing some one handed typing (and I don't see what all the fun about it is? ) to update this. Thanks for the patience in my posting. Rule 1: Before I even explain this contest, I'll lay this one out. 21 and over guys and gals. 21 and over... I'd even like to ask of the FOGs here, should I ask for ID on this one? That considered, read on... THE CONTEST: It's simple, name my favorite wine. I prefer a specific year, but vintage won't count here, as I'd like this to end sometime this century. You name the Producer and the Bottling and you win a bottle from me. As this could last a while I will make it interesting... If the correct guess is registered before I get my 200th post, the winner will recieve two bottles. If guessed after 200 you'll recieve just one bottle. (This is just my crazy idea of a motivator, as I may have to just drink the case of reward I have as the contest diminishes .) The Continuing Rules: #1 = 21! #2 = Three Guesses per 24 hour period. #3 = 50 Posts and a Member for 1 Month (I'm planning a true Newbie contest seperately). Clues Posted Every Other Day. Best of luck! Just to get you started... Clue #1 French in origin... (That narrows it down... Like saying, "I drive a car," when somone asks what you drive.) Clue #2 It's a red. Clue #3 It's retail is under $15 a bottle (making it an affordable everyday wine). Clue #4 It is distributed in the US by Kobrand, in New York.
