Last bottle of port I drank was a Burmester LBV, 1996 I think. It was ok, not the best I ever had, but not bad. It was a gift so I don't know how much it cost, but I will probably seek out another LBV next time I shop for port.
I'm no aficianado, but I remember it not being as sweet as most ports I have had. A little more "bite" in the unpleasant sense, than I expected from an LBV. |
