I found a tasting emporium in downtown Woodstock that specializes in infused olive oils and balsamic vinegars. They have probably a total of 60 varieties altogether and sell other artisan local products. When Kim wants to hang out with her friends for bubble tea and Gelato, I either go to this shop or over to Maxwell's cigar lounge around the corner. Sometimes both, especially if the weather sucks to smoke outdoors in the park. I have gotten some spectacularly well aged vinegars (not really into the infusions) up to 18 years old for very reasonable prices. These vinegars are so good you want to do shots of them (to which I will admit to doing more than once).

Two weeks ago me and my Bride started eating healthier in earnest. First week I dropped 11 pounds she, 9. Haven't weighed myself yet again will this week. Been eating a shit ton of veggies, chicken and pounding water.

Tonight was One-Pan Creamy Chicken & Gnocchi (gnocchi was made from carrots).

Past Meals
Caprese Chicken
Zucchini Chicken Enchiladas
Spicy Cajun Shrimp, Sausage and Veggie Sauté with Mashed Cauliflower (the cauliflower was actually good)

We have one of those type stores here at Tysons Corner about an hour away. It's in the same mall as one of our fav restaurants so when we go we hit the store. Love their balsamics.

So, what is for dinner tonight?

If you ever visit Las Vegas and want awesome BBQ hit the Rollin Smoke BBQ on Highland. Fantastic BBQ. They have around 15 different sauces in a sauce bar. I had some beef rib and pork rib with loaded mashed potatoes. Simply great BBQ.

I have no interest in going to Vegas, so I'll miss that one. We've been eating Boef Bourgone last couple of days. Basically a pot roast made with a bottle of red cooking wine. And mushrooms added.

I hear you J. Sin City is not for everyone. I have family and friends here so I come visit often. Definitely a culinary city, even the dumpy places can be great.

I just don't like to gamble and casinos can be really loud. I've been to a few. Only if there's a show I want to see. 20 years ago to see Riverdance in Biloxi was last time. 20 years ago when K was pregnant with Katie. K got food poisoning from the bisque at the Bayfest herf and spent most of the night next to the toilet after the show was over. Memorable night.

MOJO pork chops, peas and rice. Maybe some sweet and sour red cabbage. Homemade peach crumble with whipped cream for dessert.
