Excalibur 1066 - Art of the Cigar
Excalibur 1066 - Art of the Cigar
(48 X 7.00) I bought these last summer (good auction price) and they have been resting in cello ever since, so I thought I would break into them and give one a try. Nice looking cigar, medium brown wrapper that was lightly veined. Construction top notch. Pre-light draw was toasty tobacco. The cigar lit nicely and burned straight, produced good volume of smoke. However,....... Nasty bitter taste. I kept going knowing there was a lot of cigar hoping it would "warm up". I tried, I really tried, but this cigar just never improved. The stinging bitterness was so prevalent there was no way around it. I went for a good inch then pitched it. I know you can get a clunker sometimes, but now I'm not sure about the rest of them. Will probably just use them as give-aways to moochers. Oh well. Last edited by bsk; 03-10-2010 at 07:16 PM. |
