They're a mixed bag. I've had about 4 hours of Beatles outtakes on cassette for decades. A real mixed bag. Many takes where they screwed up & stopped, and some real gems- songs that never made it albums & completely different versions of album songs. Ever hear What's The New Maryjane, or the version of Get Back where they tell the Pakistanis to get back to where they belong? I also have 3 hours of rehearsals for the Bob Dylan/Grateful Dead tour. Lots of great Dylan tunes they never played on the tour & even a nice version of Paul Simon's Boy In The Bubble.
