Xikar lighters -- any good?
Seen here: http://www.xikar.com/product_lighter.asp
I guess they're pretty new? Haven't seen anything on them yet. Currently using a decent Colibri that someone got me for my birthday, but it's fuel capacity is zilch and it's not exactly the most reliable thing out there. I can't justify spending $100+ on an X-Tend and I think the Blazer is a bit too big to carry around comfortably. Plus it's ugly. |

I've been using one for a few months now with no problems. Reasonable price, I say go for it.

One of my local shops has been carrying them for a little while now and they say they can't keep 'em in stock. I played with one a couple weeks ago while there. I haven't converted myself yet but they do seem solid enough. I'll probably pick one up.

Friend of mine has used one for several months now with zero problems. I can't say the same for my Colibri Cyclone.

I just received mine, went through 1 tank, tried to refill, lighter no longer lights. Repeated attempts resulted in flame shooting out the side of the lighter near the handle part you squeeze in.
I contacted Xikar about this.. let's see how they handle it. |
