Nebraska wants to play, maybe a return of the old Big 8.

Yaknow...if it's just the SEC and ACC, you might as well just put LSU, Alabama, and Clemson in the playoffs and let them duke it out. Vanderbilt would have a shot at the playoffs.

There's still hope for the Big 12.

And if Nebraska wants to play, there are still hard feelings from their leaving. A common opinion among fans is, if you want to play this year you need to come back permanently. Otherwise you're stuck with the decisions of your new friends that you chose over us.

Contractual obligations likely prevent for the present.

AAC still plans to play. Tulane has a shot at the playoffs.

It's looking like the Big 12 will play. K-State just reached agreement to play Arkansas State September 12 in Manhattan prior to starting the nine game conference schedule.
