I was sitting here thinking about the event(s) that led up to this whole thing , Smith and domestic violence...

I started doing the math ...

There are 130 FBS teams , with roughly 15 coaches and assistants (that's from wikipedia and probably low) , so there are 1950 of them , let's round that up to 2500 to account for other staff too...

The national average is 1 in 4 women are a victim of DV in their life time ...

If we take half that number and make it 1 in 8 , that's ~320 , take say 75% of that and you are looking at ~240 coaches/assistants putting coaches and schools at risk...

Add in the 420 d2 and d3 schools the number triples...

Anyone who thinks "their" school is immune might want to re-think that ...
