Sadly, you're probably right. After thinking about it, the player was probably instructed..to just fall on the ball. IF..Ark had done that in the first quarter, they might have recovered, rather than let OSU score a TD.

I'm not trying to be critical. I know it's different down there on the field, in the heat of action, than just sitting in my chair watching it on TV.
