It should. The stem is oxidized and has a couple of small depressions at the button, but that shouldn't be a big deal. The rim darkening should clean right up as well. Here is a better picture.

I am obsessed with beautiful wood. No matter what the format. I just spent ten minutes waxing a knife that I made out of some decent fiddleback walnut.
One of them looked more like antler than any antler I have seen since I most painfully and violently ripped it off of that big damned buck in butler county. Many of them were just wonderful. |

I, too, love wood. Hold on a second, that doesn't sound right.
But I do love the way pipes look. The grain, the texture, the wood. It's beautiful.
