I've got beads in every device I use, including the coolerdor I use for box storage. (Eventually those will dry out too if not humidified.) And I have read on this site somewhere that you can replace the stuff in the Oasis with beads too.

The great thing about these beads is the act like 50/50, but more effectively, IMHO. Too dry, they let moisture out. Too moist, they draw moisture in. Not to sound like a bead salesman, but these are so reliable, they use them in museum storage. I prefer the 65%, but to each his own.

I put the beads in some tiny (2.5" square) tupperware containers and put a bunch of holes in the lids. I use a couple of those in my big (300ct) 'dor and one in each of my smaller (100ct) 'dors. I've also got a couple in my cooler, which doesn't get opened that often. (Maybe once every two weeks, just to exchange a little air.) They work like a charm.

Also, if that jar is keeping the Rh, too high, try leaving it open (empty) for a few days and letting the credo dry out a little bit. Then close and watch the Rh for a few days and recharge if needed. Once it is stable, add cigars in small groups, not all at once. You can also add a few strips of those cedar sheet that come in cigar boxes. That will help keep the Rh a little lower by drawing a little moisture.

Wish I could take credit for all this info, but I picked up every bit of it from folks on this board. Hope it helps.
