Review: Bolivar Belicoso Fino. OTT

This is the good ol' BBF. How should i start this review? I guess only one word comes to mind: YUM!!!

If you prefer a more verbose review, please read on. This BBF was right off the truck. Just opened the box and lit the sucker up. The box code on this batch is OSU DIC 01.

Just looking at the stick, i could tell this was gonna be good. It had a faint smell, but it was the famous BBF smell. This cigar had a few veins in it's wrapper, but that was offset by the nice silky feel of the wrapper.

The predraw was awesome. I could taste the nutty flavor that i love in the BBFs. Once again, i could tell this was gonna be good.

After the light, i was treated by enough smoke to set off a fire alarm. This stick produced ridicules amounts of very dense smoke. It was so thick it almost had a yellowish tint to it. The ash was dark gray in color and looked a little on the flaky side.

Right away this cigar was a Medium to Full body with the flavor to match. With just the aroma of the smoke i could detect that nutty essence that happens with every BBF i've ever smelled. The good ol' ISOM tingle was there right from the get go. With just a few puffs, i could taste a light flavor of honey and almonds. After a french inhale, a buttery flavor was left on my palette. When exhaling through the sinuses, there was extreme amounts of nuttiness to this smoke.

What can i say? Anyone that has ever tried a BBF already knows what i'm talking about. This cigar is just plain awesome and that's pretty much the bottom line. I was very tempted to give this cigar a 95, but the one or two large veins in the wrapper and the slightly flaky ash caused me to knock it down a few points. I give this cigar a 92 out of 100.
