If you want to get speakers too, I'd get something like this:

This unit sounds great and will beat any HTIB (home theater in a box) units out there. This is another one that is getting good reviews, if the above unit is a little too expensive: http://www.etronics.com/product.asp?...840&SVBName=30 Obviously, seperate components are best, but either of these would sound great to most people. If you're even a little anal about sound quality, I'd go with the Onkyo, though.
