It's a good rum. However... Since its "damn close to unattainable" in the US it has a cult following close to Coors beer in the 60s and 70s east of the Rockies.
I've been to most of the nations in the Caribbean and there are several rums I consider better. One more thing.. I was in the Bahamas two weeks ago with our family and older son bought a bottle of HC7 for our condo. Both my son and I agreed it was good but not worth the kudos it gets. Jmho

I'm in Canada this week and it was the only one they had from the island where I had dinner. That said, it's better than any other rum I've had.

Go to gayot.com and click on their Best 10 rums. I've had 6 of them and I'd buy them before HC7.
