Wolf V Cutter.....
Been using the Wolf V cutter for some time now..... I actually like it better for day-to-day use than my Prometheus V cutters..... Both offer a clean and deep 'notch' cut for those who prefer this method.....
The Wolf is plastic versus the metal Prometheus. The Prometheus is definitely 'classier' and matches my dual flame flint Prometheus lighters.....Much better for more formal occasions..... But the Wolf stays cleaner and doesn't seem to require the regular soaking/cleaning that the Prometheus does in order to keep working smoothly..... Then there is the price difference: $10 or so for the Wolf versus $90 for the Prometheus..... All in all, the Wolf V cutter is an exceptional bargain and should be considered seriously by those of you who prefer this type of cut.....

V cutters have always intrigued me but I've never used one. Here Wolf V @ Iwan Ries is one source. On THIS site they claim Wolf is a Xikar product!
They're not expensive, about $10. This may very well be my chance! Thanks for the "push" David! |

I like the V cut, but used to smoke a lot of torps... imagine the look on my face as I tried to figure out the V cut versus the torp... I ended up using my toofers
