Hoyo de Monterrey, Petit Robusto OPU OCT 06

Very loose draw with lots of smoke. 1/3 very tasty with raisin, pepper and cedar, 2/3 less fruit more cedar, spice and some carmel, 3/3 more carmel and cedar but developing some harshness at the last inch. There was tunneling throughout and I needed to correct this 3 times even though I smoke quite slowly. 1 hour

Is this a review or an autobiography?

I haven't had one of these yet that I've really liked. Always seem to draw too loose and/or burn too hot.

I have not had any troubles with the draw or the burn and really enjoy these cigars - especially when I an short on time. I wonder if the cigar was stored properly, sounds like a humidity issue to me.

I completely agree. The ones you sent me had a perfect draw and burn. A damn good cigar, though a heavy hitter it is.

After reading review - I torched one last night. Mine was quite good with no problems. Mine have about 1.5 years on them.
