That is one of the coolest pipes I have seen. How do they smoke? Damnit man, I was content until I just saw that!

It'll probably be either wonderful or terrible. Some of those old ones have soaked up so much tar that they have lost most of their ability to absorb moisture and conduct heat. On the other hand, other ones have simply had a chance to dry out and cure wonderfully. Beautiful pipe for a beautiful price.

Nice catch ... I do like the style. Based on the "Supergrain" description, I think this might be an old Kaywoodie. These were made in England for awhile in the 30's and 40's at the Comoy factory. Many of my older Kaywoodies are very good smokers.

Other than Super Grain London England, there are no other markings the seller could see. I don't know who the maker is, I came across it searching for an older Kaywoodie.
