Most underrated cigar?
My vote goes to the PUNCH GRAN CRU line. They are seriously better than many cigars that seem to get more attention around here.
For me I would prefer a Gran Cru over a standard PADRON or CAO. |

for non-cubans I would say the Cuban Crafters Cabinet selection, La Floridita maduro bundles (really!!), and Don Tuto cigars

I just smoked a Punch Grand Cru recently for the first time and it was great, I would definitely smoke more. I generally like maduros and heavier, medium smokes, but the Claro wrapped Grand Cru that I had was a nice smooth, flavorful, refined and tasty cigar.
As far as the Cuban Crafters lines go, I would say that it's more that people are not yet familliar with them rather than them being under rated. So far what I have seen is that nearly everyone who tries the Salazars, Vegas, Don Kiki Limited Reserve Red and the Cuban Crafters seems to really like them. It's a matter of the word getting out more and for them to be available from more places IMO. With Cuban Crafters being a relatively new company, that will just take some time. I have a feeling that at this year's RTDA they will pick up a lot of dealers and you will see a lot more shops around the country carrying them. I just smoked my first Don Kiki Limited Reserve Brown Label today and it was an outstanding cigar. Construction, appearance, burn, draw and flavor were excellent. I think that when the word gets out about them they are going to be extremely popular. |

I love the Gran Cru Robustos in Maduro. I've become such a Havana Ho lately that I haven't had one for a year or so but they used to be a fave.
My top underrated NC's would be: Monte Afrique Uhuru Punch Rare Corojo Rothshchild Onyx Reserve Mini Beli Occidental HSG

For me:
ERDM (Villazon) Exodus 1959 (Torano) I've got a cooler full of Dark Side smokes, but I still very much enjoy the two I just mentioned. |

Thinking underrated or unknown ??? Sometimes the two are thought of as the same. For me an "underrated cigar is one that's commonly available, but is seldom discussed or praised. One that you would buy regardless of what is written.... for me that's the JR Ultimate Corona. Available in several wrappers, but my preference is the Maduro Maduro
