Just laid down money on a pair of Polk Audio RTi100 speakers (a cool grand!) They will be released for sale Wednesday at ABC Warehouse. Had to replace a pair of aging BSRs (from 1977) as the microwave took the high end out of one... long story - just don't run the cable from the satellite antenna near your microwave and have the amp turned up! Next will be a Denon receiver.

Ross, congrats on the new purchase. As you know I am a stereo/HT nut. Let us know how you like the sound.

I just bought a 2 channel NAD amp to power my Polk all weather deck speakers. SO far they have been great. For the HT I have all Paradigm Reference speakers which I love.

Martin, which AV amp do you have? I am considering a Denon.

I have an Integra9.1 av receiver that does Dolby Digital EX, DTS ES which are the new 7.1 formats for movies. You can see more here: http://www.integrahometheater.com/sh...iver&m=DTR-9.1

Denon and Integra are my two top choices for AV receivers. You can't go wrong with either. Let me know what you end up with. Good luck.

I love my Paradigm Titans in the smoking room. In the living room I have classic JBL 4377s or whatever that number is. Got some good sounding ARs mounted above the hot tub and Advents outside for pool/deck.

The Paradigms are the most satisifying speakers I have owned.
