2016 season kicks off this Sunday.

Anybody else have a favorite team? Follow the league? Give a damn?

I was a fanatical fan of the old Cosmos back in the 70's-80's, but after the NASL folded I followed the sport on and off.

Never could get into MLS when it first started, but when they put a team in Yankee Stadium last year (NYCFC) my love affair with soccer was rekindled. My son (converted baseball fan) and I hauled ass up to the Bronx and caught 8 matches.

Don't know if we'll make it to that many this season (work/school reasons), but we're gonna try our damnedest to get to as many games as possible.
