Christmas Gifts for the kitchen

What did Santa bring you?

I got this really cool Mortar and pestle check it out...

Question, for those here they use these, what did you do to season it? It’s a bit rough on the inside and can use some smoothing out. They say to grind down rice until smooth in the inside. Does this sound like the right thing to do?

Got this really cool mini kitchen scale for coffee and tea measuring. Works great.

Very nice. The one I have I've never done anything to it other than wash it after use. But mine is smooth not rough.

I got two of these perforated sheets for the smoker. Will use with meatballs and atomic buffalo turds stuff like that.

I'm thinking some neutral grain should work. Don't wanna use anything unique in the flavor dept unless it is gonna be dedicated to that particular use. Can be compromised by cleaning as well.

I have several for different tasks...

I got cookbooks for Christmas. No gadgets.

My wok rig came in last week. I'm counting it as a present.

Rice to clean a morter and pestle.
