Print this out and save it

https://www.latimes.com/food/story/2...nversion-chart

It's a weight conversion of a cup of about a hundred different ingredients.

Very useful if you bake.

EDIT: this is a very handy chart of cooking herbs:

J.
Go anywhere on the chart and right click.
Open frame in new tab OR Open frame in new window.
Right click.
Select All
Copy
Paste into a Word .doc

Either save it as a Word .doc or if it will let you, save it as a .pdf

Works for me.

I have a copy saved on my tablet for easy access when I need it. I often use my tablet in the kitchen.

I just told them no and went from there I think.

I may see how big the thing is and throw the spreadsheet into my photo thingie and link it to this thread.

Yes I consider it that important...unless there is some legality that I'm unaware of.

J.

OK, until I get chastised anyway here they are by category:

Nuts:

Liquid:

Grain:

Fruit (last 4 are 31,15,5 and 3):

Fat:

Dried Fruit:

Dairy:

There ya go...

As a Good Eats devotee I have long been weighing my flour - I have the wt/cup written in sharpie on the containers I store the various varieties I keep on hand in. This chart is a great ref for those oddballs that I use only once in a blue moon. Great Resource!!!!
