Rotating

Hi all

I would like to ask how important is it to rotate the cigars in your humidor? How often should you rotate your cigars. Do you need to rotate them.

Thanks Roger

Rotating

Some do, Some don't.

I don't rotate -

If I had a smaller humidor with sticks packed in it, perhaps I would.
Currently I have a huge humidor with just a few cigars so they are very spread out.

The only time I "rotate" any of my cigars is when I have to rifle through a desktop or coolerdor to find something specific. Personally, I don't think there is any compelling reason to rotate cigars, and pretty good reasons not to (possibility of wrapper damage, increasing contact with oxygen, etc.).

if I rotated cigars I'd be forever rotating. I think I'd rather smoke them then rotate them

Its a good question, but I'm with MD on this, hard to come up with a compelling reason to do it.

I always no what in my humidor because I use a iPhone app called mobile stogie pro. The dogwatch teem recommended this software. It works great.

No rotation for me except when I am rummaging through my singles drawer to find something unique to smoke.

I have been making a focused effort to smoke from the singles tray in my cooler.

Why? Well, it was getting full for one reason, and second,
I can now fill it up with new singles, I guess.

Every once in a while I think to myself that I ought to rotate my various stashes. And then laziness takes over...
