In the last few years, I have had to order & re-order replacement's,
since I tend to get in to big of a hurry, and crack the glass. I finally
ran out of replacements, and actually, had my last one for well over
a year, maybe 2.

I decided I would try one of bodum's 32 ounce unbreakable beaker's.
I am not so sure, that I like this. I was concerned about the taste, since
it was a polymer vs glass. So far, not that much difference. What I notice
more then anything else, is, when I am actually pressing the coffee.
Instead of the spring that goes around the filter, it is plastic. So there
is more friction, when you push it down. I also believe, it does not strain
as well, as the glass, with the stainless strainers.

Just looking at it, it seems to me, that it should not retail for the same
amount as the glass with stainless steel. I would not advise anyone to
get this.
