Decided to light up one of the beauties tonight. This has got to be one of the great cigars the island has ever produced. Just awesome. I took a few of these from my FL home when I came up North because I wasn't sure what my inventory was up here.

Still a nice "oily" sheen even after all these years. Perfect light and a nice slow and perfect burn. This cigar gave off an amazing aroma and smoked just wonderfully. Very full bodied and had that classic Monte # 2 strength and flavor. I can't single out any one of the flavors, or the aroma for that matter, but I thought I tasted/smelled a hint of a "woody" flavor, maybe cedar -- but this was classic Monte # 2 at it's best. Definitley on the all-time great list.
