H. Upmann Super Corona
I don't usually write reviews. But, given my surprise with this cigar, I figured I'd share my enjoyment.
I just received a box of these (today) from 9/01. I haven't had an SC in a couple of years. I don't normally smoke this size (ring gauge), but, I recall having enjoyed this cigar the last time I had it. So....on with the review. This ISOM is 5 5/8 x 46. The wrapper was light/med brown, smooth and silky. Nice construction with no noticable veins or blemishes. The light was easy, the burn was perfect from start to finish. The draw was a little tight, but not a distraction. Despite the relative smaller ring gauge, there was ample smoke. The flavors went from spicy to earthy to honey sweet and back to earthy. Very nice!!! Overall---I'd recommend you give them a try. Very enjoyable. If I recall correctly this cigar is being discontinued (but, I wouldn't swear to it---I'm sure someone out here knows). Score: A very solid 4 out of 5
