I got to see Pearl Jam

Concert was Sunday evening. Buzzcocks opened. They sucked IMHO. Anyway, PJ rocked. They were pretty mellow that evening with only about five real rockers in the set. They played an extended set, though. They seem to really like playing in Indy and always do an extended show here. They are definately looking older. Hard to believe that when Ten came out they were younger than I am now. The only downside to the concert was the fact that about twenty idiots decided to drink way too much and smoke some grass in front of us. I didn't mind so much, but my wife had a pretty nasty headache from it all. All in all, a very good show. It's nice to still have a few bands who really enjoy playing together and can play their instruments. They closed with a really nice Mike McCready solo jam on Yellow Leadbetter. A fitting closing to a wonderful evening. I highly recommend seeing them live, as they never fail to please!
