I bought one of these:
http://www.dak.com/Reviews/2020Story.cfm I can use my turntable, cassette deck and reel-to-reel with it to record to my hard drive (actually, an external one) and then burn to CD. I'm currently converting my childhood Disney soundtrack LPs (I had them all and after three kids, they're in pretty sad shape) to CDs for my daughters and it does an amazing job of cleaning up the pops and scratches. Supposed to do the same for hiss on tapes too, but I haven't tried it yet. I wish this had been available when I purchased my Burwens back in the day.
