HDM EL Pirimides

I smoked this driving back from MA yesterday, windows down and sunroof open.

I have had some mixed experiences lately with some EL's the mid 02' PSD3 I have are sick as are the Dic 02's Romeo Robustos.

This cigar was different, I believe it is a Nov 03. Wrapper was quite rustic looking not what I would expect from an EL.

I clipped it and to my relief it had just the right pre-light draw..not to tight, not to loose just right.

Immediatly upon lighting her up, I knew this would be a very good cigar, lovely toasty sweet flavors from the outset, driving with windows down its hard to pick up on some of the more subtle flavors that this had but the one constant throughout this cigar was a lovely sweet undertone. No harshness whatsover, amazing for a cigar so young. As I got towards the last third I was awaiting for the hot nasty tannins to kick in but they never did, in fact I was treated to one of the most flavorsome complex finishes I have ever experienced. This EL was not letting me put her down, I just keep on smoking until I literally couldnt hold it anymore. I wonder how much better these will get with age. Easily my favorite EL so far.
