Dry cigars
Hi Guys,
First post. After vacationing in Mexico over the Christmas holidays I've been smitten by the cigar gods and taken up the habit. Been reading all the posts, have me a coolador, got my 65% beads, cigars resting gently for about a month. They seem dry. I don't have enough experience to know for sure and hope you all could educate me. The wrapper seems dry to the touch. How spongy should it feel when I pinch the cigar? When I clip the end it feel more like I'm "breaking" not cutting through head and a bits of the wrapper break off. They seem to smoke fine. Not overly harsh. I'm in Denver which a naturally dry climate; don't know if that makes a difference. Thinking about going to 70% beads but I thought I'd first ask the board advice. Thanks Reed |
