Build a Humidor out of a Cooler
Has anyone made a Cooli'dor? Or know anyone who has? My real question is are you better off making one and save $$$$$ for the cigars. or buy a humi

I have a small desktop for singles I buy.
I had a coolidor to put boxes in that I purchased. I like it because they're cheap but I'd like to get a small cabinet to put boxes in. For me, personally, it's much more appealing to the eye than an ice chest.

I have two coolerdors and no longer use any kind of desktop humidor.
Get a 60 or 70 qt Igloo, and get started.

I bought a cooler, some 70% beads from Heartland, and got some free empty boxes from my local cigar shop. I have used the hell out of it and will probably need to build another one soon!
It's very cheap - especially when you consider the price of the cigars you would waste that wouldn't fit into a humidor! Rich

Get the best of both worlds. Buy a cooler for boxes (get the biggest you have room for) and a cheap humi to keep your singles that you plan to smoke in the next month or so. Humis can be had cheap here at CW, try the trading post. IMO expensive humis don't work better, they only look better, so save your money there.
