I just thoroughly enjoyed watching ELO: Wembley or Bust on Prime. Never considered myself a big fan of ELO, but that was one impressive concert. If they come close, I would shell out the ticket price just to see the almost overwhelming light show.
It's worth the two hours that it runs. EDIT: I watched it through Prime, but it's actually on Showtime.

Andy Williams while making candy. Retail ruined Christmas music for me, but it isn't Christmas without AW.
Benny Grunch and The Bunch are coming up.

Received a small portable record player for Christmas, can play 78s. Have listened to my Al Jolson collection, Porter Wagoner, Carl Smith, Louis Jordan, Red Foley, Edy Albert and his Tennessee Plowboys. What a time machine.

Make sure the needle's for 78s lest you ruin them.

78s are a challenge.16s are damned near impossible.
I know of a cache of significant 16 RPM records. I never could find a workable player until now. eBay was still in it's infancy 15 years ago.

I never even saw a 16 rpm. 78s, when played properly, have amazing fidelity. (I actually own a Caruso valued at, according to the experts, between $800 and $1200.)
