Clim. beads question

Hello,

I have a quick question: if I use my climmax beads in my cabinet, can I let the beads sit (in their hosiery bag, of course) directly on the cedar? Or do I need a buffer of some kind?

I was worried that they would draw from and expell into the wood, and that that might cause some sort of problem. Not sure why.

If you use beads in a humidor or cabinet, let me know if you set them directly on the wood. Or just what you think about the idea. Thanks!
