Cigar boxs as smaller humidrors?

I picked up a few cigar boxes at my local Churchills shop for about 2 bucks a piece. I mainly was going to use them for cedar. But two of the boxs really caught my eye. They were Partagas Series S cigar boxes. They are pretty big, so I thought.... hmmm if these have a good seal, maybe I can use them for smaller humidors or gift humidors? They both hold humidity pretty well so far, they both hold 70%rh, after 3 days of seasoning. So what do you guys think? Worth the effort?
