I purchased my first Zippo!

With all the good things I've heard about Zippo lighters lately, I decided to buy one. It's brushed gold with a green front panel. "United States Army" and the Army logo are on the green panel. I like it alot. It takes some getting used to lighting cigars, but works great once I got the hang of it.

Sweet.
I ordered two last Christmas for my roommate and I. We're both WWII buffs, so I ordered the 1941 Replica.

My GF got me one for Vday . She got me the insert too!! I love this thing and lighting cigars takes NO EFFORT at all! Only bad thing, it eats fuel, but I dont even care! . I have a Jack Daniels one (my favorite alcohol).

And, since Zippos are frowned on by the cigar 'cognoscenti', they have to be cool.....

Love that 1941. Did you get chrome or brass?

Two recommendations: 1) Use Zippo brand fuel. 2) Let the flame burn a second or two before lighting your cigar.
