Blast from my past...
I was feeling a bit homesick tonight, so I was surfing around some NOLA music sites and came across some old hardcore gig fliers at nolaunderground.com.
LINK Some of the ones at the bottom of the page date back to the mid/early eighties. I actually designed (if you can call it that) a bunch of the older ones. I still have a couple of the cut & pasted originals around somewhere. Brought back some good memories. Just thought I'd share.

I used to collect fliers back in the early 80's, my bedoom walls and ceiling were filled with them. I probably had at least one from every band that played in the NY/NJ area. Those were the days when the only worry was getting enough money to see the local gigs. |
