I got a case of the Winter Brew Sampler this last weekend and it came with some of the new Sam Light,
WOW was i surprised it's actually tasty, in the same style of thier Lager, now to try the Yuengling Light, I typically hate light beers, but if its tasty and light, i guess you cant go wrong. "If you can't send money send Tobacco" George Washington to the continental Congress 1776

I initially I thought it tasted alright, but there is no aftertaste. Kinda defeated the purpose of drinking Sam Adams IMO...

I wish they'd come out with a beer that has all the "ingredients" they take out of the light beer. That'd be for me. They gotta do something with it, be a shame to waste it

I won't be trying it, and I'm dismayed that it's coming in their winter sampler.
Actually when it first came out, I wondered if Sam Adams had gotten so big that quality wasn't as relevant anymore. Sam Adams and light beer just don't go together.

No point in making Sam Light; Love the Winter Lager, though!
