IPCPR Luchador El Gringo
Let me start of by saying ,have been a fan of the Luchador line and have enjoyed a box or two in the past..
This thing is a beast...4 1/2 x 70 rectangular seriously box pressed except for a slight taper at the end so it can fit into most cutters. Cigar appears dark and oily, well constructed with the infamous luchador mask as a band. Prelight aroma was of hay and horse farm Cold draw I got honey which reminded me of Pine Bros cough drops and hits of fresh leather..Draw was very loose. First third,,lit well ,burn is straight,,getting hints of cocoa and nuts with some spice...lots of thick smoke, finish is long. Halfway..getting some green vegetal notes as well as coffee and cocoa. Definitely full bodied getting bolder along the way. Final third...this thing puts out lots of smoke and takes a while to smoke. Flavors are still the same and the burn while a bit uneven is still ok. Flavors remain the same and haven't changed much. Strength is still full and getting hits of pepper. Conclusion..Overall an enjoyable cigar, thought the size would be an issue but I find it easy to hold and enjoy. Took an hour and a half to smoke and I would buy more. Prelight 9,,Light 9..Construction 9..Flavor 9,,,Power 9....total 9
