Tale of two filters, the AeroPress white filter versus a generic unbleached brown filter.

They both work great. The generic brown filter is slightly bigger so it fits a bit snug. I find this snug fit preferable when doing the inverted brew method.

Other then that, both filters work great.

The price is the main reason I prefer the generic filter since they work the same in how they filter the coffee. Why pay more. Go for the cheaper filter if it works the same.

I'm on my second Aeropress. I prefer it to the French Press. A lot less sediment.

Definitely a cleaner cup over the French press.

Do you have any favorite coffee AeroPress recipes?

Only one I use is a scoop (that came with the set), hopefulle recently ground coffee and boiling water. I lightly shake it once the plunger is in, then set it on top of my cup. I let it sit longer for a bolder brew if that's what I want.

I have doubled my daily coffee consumption since I started using an AeroPress.
