So Pissed

Spent the last couple of hours prepping dinner for us, our niece, and her kids. Beautiful sirloin tri tip roast, marinated and with a good rub. Yams on the grill. Came back in and her stupid ridgeback had pulled the sirloin off of the middle of our kitchen island (meaning she had to really get up on the counter) and was on the floor eating it. My niece said all that she could say "sorry Uncle Bob". I told her I was to made to talk about it.

OUCH. Sorry to hear that. I cooked one on the grill yesterday that was absolutely amazing but you definitely don't want to hear that.

Ridgeback can be a bit gamey unless you soak it in buttermilk.

What breed were Mr. Bupkis' dogs in A Christmas Story? The ones that got in the kitchen and at the entire Christmas dinner?

It was Bumpess and they were hounds of some variety. You don't really get to see them much onscreen.

Depending on how old it was, dry-aging might work as well.
