Another well aged cigar brought to you by Bruce aka @Ljutic

Unable to find any reviews of anything even close to this cigar, so unfortunately there will be no professional/dedicated reviewers comments and score to compare to my review for noting the differences and similarities.

A very smooth wrapper with only 1 long, but thin, vein, medium smooth, short, cap/head, and a hard bunch.

Cold draw airflow seems perfect, so no tools needed, taste was extremely subtle, but of vegetal and grassy flavors.

Visual appearance overall is attractive, with the dark wrapper with only part of the seam visible, and having only the 1 thin vein.

Had a slightly uneven burn but not even close enough to needing correction.

Coal was nice and flat, so clearly it was burning pretty correctly and evenly, and my smoking pace was good.

Ash structure was kinda flaky and an even grey color.

Draw was perfect.

Smoke volume was excellent and the aroma was a very subtle, very light, woody smell.

Had a medium richness, mild strength and body, with a perfect balance of modest herbal, woody and floral flavors and a weak finish/aftertaste of evenly balanced floral and woody hints.

Overall, a very good cigar, especially in appearance and construction, but was just lacking in taste and finish.

Even at the nub the flavors were still very light and subtle.

Overall score was an 87 out of 100, which isnt too bad, but falls short of the 91 the Miami rolled one previously reveiwed scored.

Looking back at that review, all section scores were very close, with the exception of richness, body, and flavor strength, which is really all that dropped this score lower.

Also as a note, this Dominican rolled one was smoother, had less veins, and was overall more attractive. Kinda interesting based on the early 2000’s belief that the Miami rolled ones were better constructed as I mentioned in the beginning of this review.

If you are an overall mild cigar fan, this would have been the cigar for you

I friggin love cigars
